This is a pretty heavy toy with lots of little nubbies on it, I will say that my little dog has been able to chew some of the little nubbies off of it but it's solid and big.I don’t know if my dog is just weird or what but he has chewed through tires, “indestructible” toys, everything. The only thing he can’t tear up is a rock and he loves rocks.. my step mom bought this for him but it didn’t last but a day.. so if you have a aggressive chewer dog i wouldn’t recommend this.Both German shepherds play with it together and separate. I love it because of the color I can spot it easily with my poor vision.It's tuff for throwing and some tug of war with my 1 year old labradoodle but let her have it to chew on for more than 10 minutes and she started pulling off the little raised spikes. She also started tearing into the rubber itself. My dog is an aggressive chewer and we have yet to find any rubber like toys to withstand (Kong has been the toughest and longest lasting that we've tried but even those have fallen victim to my aggressive chewing doggy).This toy is made for an aggressive chewed. My puppy had strong chewing power but this toy is standing the test of time.We have 3 pitbulls and this thing will not be destroyed. They chew and tug on it all the time.
