Previously bought this mug before for my cousin but it got broken so I bought it for him again I know he's gonna love itThis is a large sized mug with a cute design. However, the temperature activated part of the design is at the very top of the mug which makes this feature practically useless.Gave as a funny gag gift for a birthday celebration in addition to a gift certificate. Friend thought it was hilarious and would enjoy their coffee in the morning using the mug. It was cute and appreciated.The mug worked for its purpose of holding hot things however it is not exactly how it is advertised. 1.) DO NOT MACHINE WASH, I did it with mine and all of the words came off and half of the pug's cap, after the second wash (Since the damage had already been done) nearly the whole thing was gone and by the 4th wash I just had a plain black mug. 2.) is that you will still be able to read the words, its just a tad more fainted. For comparison it would be like words written with 70% transparency on a Microsoft Office document when there is no hot liquid within the cup.I originally purchased this mug from a department store. I was in the love with the cats smug look and I'm a suckee for silly cat sayings. I dropped my original mug on the floor, it broke, and I was very sad. However, Amazon to the rescue! They had another mug! So I bought and could not happier. Such a cute mug!The mug itself is great. The only drawback is that it must be filled nearly to the top for the upper letters to appear. So whenever I put my 8oz of coffee I only ever see the bottom half. Leaving a pic.My daughter loves this cup! She uses it every day. And I don’t feel like it’ll break while I wash it. Heads up: not dishwasher safe. I had to get a new cup to replace her Christmas gift that I put in the dishwasher.Purchased this for my niece for her birthday. She loves monkeys, and has several monkey items around her house. She loves this mug, which is really cute - the monkey face appears on the lips, when hot liquid is poured into it.Nice present for my alpaca loving grabdaughterI was so excited for my mug, says do not wash in dishwasher, so I always hand wash it. However the labeling has already almost come off, bought it a few months ago.
