I've tried and loathed the artificial PU leather pads. P-U accurately describes them. Problem with genuine leather mouse pads is that they're usually oversized. That's fine if you want a 30"x15" pad, but I don't. This 12"x12" leather pad is exactly what I've been looking for these past few months. The leather is very soft/smooth and lays flat on my wood desktop -- and it does not slip around at all! The tracking is excellent for my Razer Viper 8K mouse. I plan on getting another pad for my wireless Razer Viper, too.EDIT: Well, after more time I had to downgrade my review. The leather is still grrat, but now the pad started sliding on the desk too much.Waterproofing works.Full grain leather should be a lot thicker. This is not as described, it's split leather at best given the thinness (maybe 1/16" thick, like a well worn cotton t-shirt). Ideally it would be thicker and stiffer so the mouse doesn't drag it around.Backing has no grip so it slides around with the mouse.This is a fairly large mouse pad made of genuine leather. It’s smooth and perfect for your office or home office. Highly recommended!!
