Really love this. Being in a group of daily cold water swimmers, I wanted to purchase a different make/style to get away from the Dryrobe clone gang. Rain, wind and storm proof and is absolutly no different to its competitors. The detachable inner, which I thought would be a massive bonus seems to be a issue. The cuffs keep coming away from the wrist section, which leaves hard velcro edges sticking into my frozen wrists (wrist gloves overcome this). Also the neck circumference is very tight. I struggle to do the zip up completely and if i do the zip to the inner layer stabs the chin (neck scarf overcomes this) but Jan/Feb & March will be the tester. Long and roomy. 5ft4, size 14/16 lady size L/XLI tried out Northcore's Beach Basha Pro changing robe up in the chilly waters of Northern Norway. The robe feels a lot lighter than a traditional robe, due to its waterproof and windproof outer layer but this also just makes you feel warm and secure. After using the robe in all the elements up here recently, I have been protected from everything the weather has thrown at me. Northcore's Beach Basha Pro is worth every penny and I would consider it to be one best changing robes on the market.This would be great although quite heavy, sadly it was way too big for me, I ordered small, I’m 5ft.It has made seaswins and surfs so much more enjoyable in the harsh Irish winter! It’s great the way you can unzip the waterproof shell from the towel inside, so it adapts to each season too. I love using it for drizzly surf checks or times where you’ve to change in the rain. It essentially makes you weatherproof.As a surf instructor it’s also great for changing at work modestly! It’s worth the investment if you love the outdoors and having that bit of comfort.Such a great changing robe, I’ve been using it through the coldest and longest winter ,it seems there’s been in the uk, and it’s been amazing. It keeps you so warm and dry even in the worst of conditions. I took it on a trip down to Cornwall and it stood up to the test of keeping the cold and rain out, great design and great value for money.
